Just completed this for 
(thanks, man!).
He asked me to draw a 'dramatic entrance shot' in which his City of Heroes character (Comrade Hero) emerges from a portal to the amazement of that world's heroes. Very much like a comic book splash page, I think.
My top priority with this was to create some drama with the blue backlight, making Comrade Hero come forward and ' pop' compositionally. Hope that's working!
