Jade

This one began as a HERO initiative charity piece, painted by hand on a special edition of JLA #50. But I couldn't help adding a few Photoshop adjustments before posting the image here.

Character is DC Comics' Jade, the half-alien daughter of the original Green Lantern. Why is she so awesome? Well, for starters, she's got one of the coolest looks in comics--the all-green-with-white-accents is really striking visually, and she's a hot cosmic chick to boot.

I decided to embrace the green motif and keep my palette as spare as possible, and I think it really works for her.
