For the cover of the upcoming WONDERLAND GALLERY from Zenescope, we've got a fun little scene featuring main character Calie in her diner waitress getup and a number of popular Zenescope covers behind her.
You may recognize the work of Dave Finch, J. Scott Campbell, E. Bas, Mike Deodato and others in the background. That's by design because the book's a compilation of the year's best Zenescope covers. Make sure to check it out!
I pencilled this during a pretty rough week, and I hope it didn't suffer as a result. Fought through a horrible case of bronchitis while simultaneously moving and taking care of a 1-month old baby. Kind of amazing this got finished at all.
Luckily, I had the peerless, exceedingly talented Emily Warren to bail me out. As usual, she turned in some lovely colors.
